Job Overview
A caring and supportive personal assistant is required for a gorgeous, energetic eight‑year‑old boy diagnosed with autism. He is non‑verbal and communicates using visual aids. He thrives outdoors and loves trips to woods, beach and local parks. The role requires understanding and patience for challenging behaviours and is part of a supportive family environment.
Key Responsibilities

* Engage in fun activities and outdoor trips.
Working Hours and Pay
Part‑time, primarily on weekends with two Sundays per month, plus additional hours during school holidays. Approximately 8 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Rate of pay starts at £13.50 per hour, with potential increase based on skills and experience.
Requirements
* Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Will be employed under a private arrangement with the family.
* Acceptance of an enhanced DBS check (administration process by Cornwall Council).
