Site Security Supervisor – Glasgow, UK
Pay: £15.36 per hour (minimum 1 year supervisor experience required).
Hours: 4 on 4 off, days, nights, weekends – 42hrs per week.
Overview
We’re hiring a Site Security Supervisor who will protect people, property and information, inspire others and lead a team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all personnel under supervision have completed the appropriate site training and possess a valid SIA licence or LDN.
* Accurately roster and plan for all direct reporting officers, ensuring adequate cover for holidays, sickness, and absences.
* Engage with all Security Officers at least once a month to monitor performance, maintain positive employee relations, and conduct coaching, counseling, and investigations as required.
* Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel.
* Actively encourage staff recognition and nominations for awards.
* Keep assignment instructions and site documentation up to date.
* Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA licence.
* Minimum 1 year supervisor experience.
* Physically fit for patrolling.
* Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
* Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
