Your new school
Gretton School is an independent specialist school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, specifically high functioning autism. We see students from 5—19 years old, as weekly boarders or day students. Located just outside Cambridge, we work with 12 counties to provide a broad and individualized education for these unique students. The school is growing, and its integrated therapeutic team works tirelessly alongside the management and staff to develop our practices. Your new role
We are seeking exceptional individuals to work with our exceptional students. We are recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join a friendly and supportive boarding environment, where your input will help achieve positive outcomes for our young people. Our warm, homely boarding houses accommodate up to three young people each, within the school grounds.
Working Hours:
* Early shift (45 hours): Monday 8am-4pm, Tuesday 7am-5pm, Wednesday - Friday 7am-4pm.
* Late shift (32 hours): Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-10:30pm.
* Sleep-in duties as required in line with rota. Cover waking nights if needed.
* Term time only.
Note: Staff currently work one week of early shifts followed by one week of late shifts, alternating. There is no requirement to work weekends or school holidays.
