About the role: Where finance meets people
This Finance Business Partner role sits within a Scotland based housing organisation where the focus isn't just on producing numbers, but on helping teams understand and use them.
You will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the business, supporting services by providing clear, practical financial insight that supports day‑to‑day decisions and long‑term planning.
What you'll be doing
* Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis
* Work directly with budget holders and service managers
* Explain financial performance across areas such as income, staffing, and service costs
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Help identify trends and support decision‑making across teams
* Present financial information to groups of stakeholders across the organisation
* Build strong working relationships with both finance and non‑finance colleagues
Who we're looking for
Must have
* Experience producing management accounts and financial reports
* Strong communication skills and ability to explain finance clearly
* Confidence working with and presenting to non‑finance stakeholders
* Experience working in a team‑based, collaborative environment
Nice to have
* Experience in housing or a regulated environment
* Exposure to business partnering or stakeholder‑focused roles
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) or working towards
