About the role
As a Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
4. Conducting continual review through audit, observations, and risk assessments to ensure customer and patient safety
5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have
To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to help us improve. Additionally, you will need:
* Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
* High levels of professional expertise and respect from stakeholders, peers, patients, and external professionals
* A passion for community pharmacy and providing excellent care
* A collaborative, team-centered approach
* Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
* Effective communication skills to meet the varied needs of customers and patients
