Location: Falkirk/Stirling/Alloa
Position: Chef
Salary: £14 - £18, based on experience
Are you a skilled and compassionate cook with a passion for preparing nutritious and delicious meals? Do you hold a current PVG certification or would like to obtain one? We are looking for a Temporary Cook to work across care homes in the Falkirk/Stirling/Alloa area.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a care or healthcare setting.
* A valid PVG certificate is not essential but is preferred.
* Flexibility to adapt to different environments and dietary requirements.
* Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Your Role:
* Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents and children.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in line with health and safety standards.
* Manage food inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
* Collaborate with staff to ensure meal plans meet the nutritional needs of those in your care.
