Job Description


We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team in the heart of London. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and team management in our food and beverage operations.

* Lead and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver consistent and memorable service to all our guests
* Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and other food service areas
* Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Manage stock levels, place orders, and control costs whilst maintaining quality
* Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
* Organise and oversee special events and promotions
* Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, set goals, and address any concerns
* Assist in creating staff schedules and managing payroll within the department
* Contribute to the development of new service procedures and standards to enhance guest satisfaction

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a similar food and beverage leadership role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and developing team members
* Exceptional customer service orientation with a keen eye for detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Proficiency in managing teams and delegating tasks effectively
* Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations, including health and safety regulations
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, sound decisions
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Fluency in English is essential
* Relevant qualifications in hospitality management are desirable, but not mandatory
