Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HR Officer to join Cheshire East Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert support on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability cases * Deliver advice on HR policies, terms and conditions, and organisational change * Undertake job evaluations using agreed methodology and ensure decisions are fair, consistent and defensible * Support Joint Consultative and Negotiating Panels (JCNPs) and build positive union relations * Analyse workforce data and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies * Represent HR on project groups and change initiatives within the Council and schools What We’re Looking For: * CIPD-qualified (or working towards), with solid HR advisory experience * Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and job evaluation processes * Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills * Ability to manage a varied workload and confidently support formal hearings and meetings If this role would be of interest to you, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible...
