Our core product, CAM Assist, speeds up CNC machining by tackling the most time-consuming and repetitive parts of the process, from machining strategy to toolpath generation. Today, CAM Assist is trusted by over 1,000 machine shops around the world to enhance their teams’ productivity, resolving skills shortages and helping them to deliver efficiently for their customers. Founded in 2015, CloudNC consists of a world-class team combining expertise in computer science and physical manufacturing, based in our headquarters in London and our factory in Chelmsford. The technology company is backed by leading venture capital firms Atomico and Episode 1 Ventures, alongside Autodesk and Lockheed Martin as strategic partners. The role CloudNC is successfully developing a leading online social media presence in the machining space, focusing mainly on video (see our Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin channels), that promotes both machining content, as well as our CAM Assist AI solution, which accelerates CAM programming and toolpath generation. We are seeking to expand these channels further by adding a new Marketing Machinist, who will be one of public faces presenting our views and products to the world. The role combines enthusiasm and creativity to showcase product capabilities and relevance to the wider world, along with technical know-how and expertise. Working with the broader marketing team, you will create compelling content, including viral videos, engaging machining content, tutorials, and social media materials, to present CloudNC as machining content experts, while showcasing how our AI software empowers users in manufacturing environments. To be clear, this is an outward-facing role, as you will be on camera showcasing CloudNC! Requirements You will be the face of our viral videos, from reacting to situations to creating cool machining content, to presenting videos in our factory and outside Stay connected to the latest trends in manufacturing technologies and collaborate with the marketing team for viral content ideas Help present our software solutions to the world, including CAM Assist Preparing and setting up machines for filming, including tooling and workholding.
