Note: Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro‑rata based on contracted hours.
About the role
* Support the Services Manager to lead on the development of the service to provide easily accessible, non‑judgemental and confidential services, which support service users in reducing harm, engaging with treatment, and moving toward recovery.
* Lead, manage and coordinate the operational activities of the service, including management of the leadership team to ensure the service runs efficiently and effectively.
* Provide line management, supervision and leadership to achieve performance outcomes and quality in line with service level and contractual arrangements.
* Ensure that constructive, positive and supportive relationships are maintained with our partners & stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Ensure effective performance management through data collection, reporting and analysis across the service.
* Work closely with and provide cover for the designated Safeguarding Lead within the service, working with local authority stakeholders and internal leads.
* Align Quality Management Systems, Incident Reporting Tool, Risk Register, and the various Audit Tools as part of service governance compliance and to drive service learning, innovation and development.
About you
* Excellent leadership and change management skills.
* Considerable senior management experience within large, integrated adult substance misuse services with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
* Considerable experience of staff development, leadership and supervision.
* A demonstrable understanding of performance management frameworks, effective governance and quality management.
* Knowledge and understanding of the possible recovery pathways available across the whole treatment and recovery system including community, residential and criminal justice provision.
* Experience of working within contracts, service agreements and service delivery systems.
