About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Court Team, which oversees children subject to legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans across Northamptonshire.
You will play a key role in ensuring that every child receives the support they need through effective planning, strong relationships, and high-quality court work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of children involved in court proceedings
* Complete assessments, court reports, and statements to a high standard
* Undertake statutory visits and maintain all responsibilities of a case-holding social worker
* Deliver a dedicated court function within the team
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
Skills:
* Qualified and registered Social Worker
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident in analysis, decision-making, and working under pressure
* Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families
