Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Respiratory Nurse to join the Community Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist team in Pembrokeshire. We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with a high level of clinical skills and theoretical knowledge in respiratory nursing. The role will support the delivery of clinical nurse respiratory services across Pembrokeshire county and the wider Health Board system, working across primary, community and acute settings to ensure seamless, high-quality care for patients with respiratory conditions.
The post holder will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service integration and patient outcomes, strengthen respiratory nursing capacity, and ensure continuity of care across the system. The respiratory nursing team provides specialist nursing knowledge and skills for people diagnosed with respiratory conditions, including multidisciplinary care planning and interventions designed to reduce hospital admissions and improve patient outcomes. They work with respiratory consultants, multi-professional respiratory colleagues, primary care, and community-based nursing teams/services.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills are essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 02/10/2025.
