We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a six-bed Children's Home based inPortsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in children's residential care within a supportive and trauma-informed environment.
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide daily care and support - including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, and maintaining routines
* Build meaningful relationships with young people through consistent emotional support and positive behaviour management
* Encourage learning and development by supporting school attendance, helping with homework, and engaging in social, leisure, and life-skill activities
* Safeguard and protect - ensuring the safety of all young people and reporting any concerns in line with safeguarding policies
* Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Therapists, Youth Offending Teams, and internal colleagues to deliver holistic, person-centred care

Requirements:
Essential:
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
* Willingness to work on a rota (including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
* Commitment to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already achieved)
