In this newly created role, you will be part of a growing team of industry and subject matter experts delivering national and global infrastructure projects across sectors such as road, rail and nuclear, and across the wider built environment. You will lead the delivery of fire engineering design, liaising with and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and delivering fire strategies supported by fire engineering analysis using prescriptive and analytical methods.
Responsibilities
* Lead project teams
* Deliver Fire Strategies and technical reports using fire engineering principles
* Ensure implementation of national and international standards (BS 9999, BS 9991, BS 9992, ADB, NFPA, IBC codes)
* Carry out engineering calculations or perform fire engineering analysis
* Assist in bidding for future work and develop networking channels
* Participate in site inspections of tunnels and related infrastructure facilities as required
* Support and mentor colleagues, developing the team and its capabilities
* Research, write and present conference papers
What you\'ll need
* Bachelor or master\'s degree in engineering or science
* Demonstrable background in fire life safety engineering
* Track record in developing Fire Strategies and executing fire engineering design works
* Good knowledge of national and international fire regulations and standards (ADB, British Standards, NFPA, UAE FLS Code, Fire Code SBC 801, IBC/IFC)
* Established Project Delivery career
