Tutors Required (EOTAS - Torbay) Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 tuition across Torbay (Torquay, Paignton and Brixham). This work supports pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, with tuition delivered either on school sites or off-site in non-educational settings. This role is ideal for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching, while continuing to make a meaningful impact through individualised support. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available. Role Overview 1-to-1 tutoring across Torbay Delivery may take place on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal Part-time, flexible hours depending on pupil and placement needs Requirements Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or strong tutoring experience Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable) Ability to travel locally within Torbay Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable Calm, adaptable, and relationship-focused teaching approach Pay Rate dependent on experience and qualifications
