We're looking for a Quality Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Brixworth, Northampton, working towards a Level 4 apprenticeship in Quality Practitioner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. While working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Brixworth Depot, Northampton
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Quality Apprentice, you'll be enrolled onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in Quality Practitioner, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to design, build, and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation, and ports sectors, with the common goal of connecting people.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Assisting with quality audits, identifying non-conformances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Administration of the document management system (IMS).
* Creating documents for use on contracts in line with group standards and policies.
* Reviewing non-conformance outstanding audit actions, supporting workstream supervisors/managers with closure.
* Supporting operational teams with audits and closure of non-conformance actions.
What are we looking for?
The role of Quality Apprentice is great for you if you have:
* GCSE Maths and English at C/4 or above.
* The ability to be self-motivated, punctual, and organized.
* Willingness to learn.
