This is a fixed term contract role based from our Coventry support office for 12 months
What you'll do
Here you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate setup of all styles within Forecasting and Replenishment tools, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support timely delivery of new range launches, plinth ends, and event activities.
You will work alongside the Supply Chain Analyst to make informed trading decisions by maintaining updated reporting and manual allocations for end-of-life styles. Additionally, you will actively participate in LOAF meetings, contribute to stock builds for new stores, and provide timely responses to store queries, demonstrating a commitment to positive stakeholder engagement and the core values of Sainsbury's.

You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in multi-channel retailing, demand forecasting, merchandising, and supply chain operations. Your high level of numeracy and ability to leverage data for informed decision-making, coupled with your agility in managing ambiguity and evolving priorities, enable you to drive commercial success and support the timely delivery of new ranges and event activities. With your collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and knack for building relationships with stakeholders, you play a pivotal role in ensuring effective cross-functional coordination and operational efficiency within the supply chain.
Essential skills needed
* Experience and working knowledge of multi-channel retailing within commercial, analytical, or operational disciplines such as Demand Forecasting, Merchandising & Supply Chain.
* Highly numerate with an ability to create, interpret, and use data to drive and influence commercial decisions.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and determine and evolve priorities at pace.
* Ability to build new relationships and work collaboratively, while effectively influencing and communicating with a broad range of stakeholders.
* Ability to deliver results to target as an individual and within a team.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving dynamic retail environment.
* Strong understanding of how different departments, channels, and markets operate.
* Knowledge of Product Lifecycle, systemic levers, and tools to execute the plan.
* Computer literate, with systems knowledge especially Excel and MS Office
