Job description
Our client, a leading company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on transformation programmes within procurement and supply chain domains.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capture, analyse, document and manage requirements for new services or changes to existing services focusing on delivering business outcomes.
2. Assist in documenting both existing and new processes to ensure smooth transitions.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate both functional and non-functional business requirements.
4. Conduct end-to-end process reviews and develop detailed process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
5. Prepare artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents; assist in preparing test plans and provide pre- and post-implementation support.
6. Analyse data flows between systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) ensuring alignment with procurement workflows and reporting needs.
7. Support the development of transformation initiatives including vendor onboarding and subcontractor performance tracking.
8. Facilitate workshops and interviews with subject matter experts to capture current and future state processes.
Job Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in transformation programmes, ideally within procurement or supply chain domains.
10. Significant experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, stakeholder engagement and process modelling.
11. Familiarity with procurement systems and data structures.
12. Ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
13. Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
14. Experience working in large, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholder groups.
15. Knowledge and experience of formal analysis techniques such as RUP and UML.
16. Understanding of applying Business Analysis techniques in an agile environment.
