SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER
* Essential: Insurance + Financial Reporting OR External Audit
* £85,000 - £100,000 + package (incl. bonus, pension etc.)
* Offices: Surrey & London (WFH x2 days p/wk)
Pear Talent is representing a growing international Insurance business who recently completed another acquisition and have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. You'll deputise for the Head of the team and play a lead role in delivering the financial results, including the annual report and accounts and the half year investor report, as well as internal business performance MI for senior management. This is a high calibre team, with regular exposure to business leadership and a track record of internal progression.
You'll be expected to oversee junior team members and partner across the business, managing key senior stakeholder relationships, taking a leading role within a team that produce, analyse and deliver the Company's financial results.
Key accountabilities:
* Lead the production of the external financial reporting (IFRS), including investor reports and internal business performance packs.
* Analyse the financial results to produce commentary for both internal management and external audiences.
* Produce various disclosures for inclusion in the annual report and accounts, interims and reports to investors.
* Partner across the business to ensure a wider understanding of the Company's financial performance.
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems.
* Take on significant roles within ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives.
Required experience:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with financial reporting experience in Insurance, or otherwise in External Audit covering Insurance companies at an experienced Manager/Senior Manager level or above.
