A Manchester-based streetwear brand with a growing global presence, recognised for its confident aesthetic and forward-thinking approach. The brand fuses contemporary culture with a strong identity and is continuing to expand, now seeking a talented Designer to join its creative team.
The Role
The Designer will play a pivotal role in developing innovative streetwear collections that push boundaries while staying true to the brand’s DNA. They will be confident working in CAD and able to translate bold ideas into commercially viable pieces that resonate with a diverse, style-conscious audience.
This position requires someone with a current, cool eye who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings fresh energy to each collection cycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and translate cultural, fashion and design trends into compelling seasonal concepts.
* Create and develop designs across key product categories (jersey, outerwear, accessories, etc.) using CAD software with speed and accuracy.
* Produce detailed technical packs and support the product development process through to sampling and production.
* Collaborate with the wider design and product team to ensure creative consistency across ranges.
* Present ideas, mood boards and design concepts to internal stakeholders with confidence.
* Partner closely with factories and suppliers to ensure quality and innovation remain at the heart of every collection.
* Stay connected to competitor activity, cultural references, and youth trends to keep collections relevant and ahead of the curve.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 2 years’ design experience, ideally within streetwear, sportswear, or contemporary fashion.
* Strong skills in CAD (Adobe Illustrator essential; additional 3D design software a plus).
* Excellent understanding of streetwear aesthetics and youth culture, with a natural eye for what is current and cool.
* Confident communicator with the ability to present creative concepts clearly.
* Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and fabrics.
