Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Hackney from September. The school is seeking a passionate and committed teacher to deliver high-quality Maths lessons and support student achievement. Interviews are taking place ASAP.
CONTRACT DETAILS Location Hackney, London Position Maths Teacher Type of work KS3 & KS4 Maths teaching Contract or position start date September Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Full time/part time Full time Minimum rate of pay Competitive, depending on experience Hours 8:30am 3:30pm ROLE OVERVIEW Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the curriculum Support student progress and attainment Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour Contribute to the wider school community EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential Experience teaching Maths at secondary level Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding Excellent classroom management skills Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one) OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please send your most up-to-date CV along with your expression of interest.
