ROLE SUMMARY
Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in Liverpool require a full time (10PA) Consultant Neurophysiologist to support high quality Neurophysiology services across the Northwest and North Wales along with providing Neurophysiology input to the Northern Children’s Epilepsy Surgery Service (NorCESS).
They will be expected to provide a weekly/fortnightly on-site EMG clinic including supporting of urgent EMG. In addition to sharing the reporting of all EEG and long-term monitoring, the post holder will be able to actively support the Neurophysiology services at Alder Hey for the Northern Children’s Epilepsy Surgery Service (NorCESS). This is a nationally commissioned network between Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH). They will work alongside our existing Consultant Neurophysiologists and also closely across site with the Consultant Neurophysiologist at RMCH.
Experience in sEEG and IOM is advantageous but training opportunities will be given.
The successful applicant would join 2 Consultant Neurophysiologists here at Alder Hey who, together, jointly cover 10 PA’s.
