Save Share Apply now We are looking to recruit a Childrens Senior Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Childrens Senior Social Worker includes:
1. Undertaking initial investigations
2. Undertaking core investigations
3. Operating under the remit of the Children's Act, 1989
4. Attending child protection meetings
5. Managing a high caseload
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files
7. Supporting junior members of the team
The ideal candidate will have:
8. Social Work England registration
9. Eligibility to work in the UK
10. Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
