We have an exciting opportunity in our Eastbourne clinic for a qualified Registered Dialysis Nurse to join our Diaverum bank. Our bank offers the flexibility to choose shifts and clinics to work in. We use an online booking system allowing you to access available shifts in your preferred clinics and book directly.
We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in our patients' lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures to improve the quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Follow care programmes for renal patients, including initiation and termination of dialysis, providing stable clinical care, emotional support, and promoting independence.
2. Follow tailored care plans to administer medications, fluid therapy, or other treatments as per Consultant instructions, ensuring proper documentation in the patient’s medical records.
3. Review pre- and post-haemodialysis care with patients.
4. Prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaverum processes.
5. Provide treatment to a group of assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care at all times.
Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse with the NMC.
2. Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct.
3. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
4. Experience as a Haemodialysis nurse within the UK.
5. Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
6. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Please note that this role requires the ability to work clinically in a renal setting.
