Support Worker – Risca £14.50 – £15.25 per hour Are you compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting others to live independent and fulfilling lives? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Our growing care agency is looking for dedicated Agency Support Workers to join our team across Risca and surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of care needs. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness and isolation. Encourage independence by supporting individuals to access community activities, social engagement, and appointments. Respond appropriately to behaviours that may challenge, using a calm, professional, and supportive approach to maintain a safe environment. Empower individuals to achieve their personal goals and aspirations, supporting confidence, independence, and quality of life. Build positive, trusting relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records and follow care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 6 months’ UK-based experience working as a Support Worker Experience or confidence in supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge A compassionate and empathetic approach with a genuine desire to make a positive impact Reliable, flexible, and willing to work a variety of shifts and locations Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative and sound judgement Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive professional relationships About the Company Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health & social care, education, and childcare sectors.
