The Opportunity
This is not a traditional build QS role.
Youll be working at the forefront of decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects, delivering large-scale retrofit programmes across social housing portfolios.
This is a commercially driven role where you will take full ownership of project performance, working across multiple schemes and ensuring delivery is both compliant and profitable.
The Role
Manage all commercial aspects of retrofit and decarbonisation projects
Cost planning, forecasting and budget control
Procurement and subcontractor management
Valuations, variations and final accounts
Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, ECO4 and SHDF frameworks
Monitor financial performance and manage risk
Work closely with operational teams and clients
Provide accurate reporting and commercial insight
What were looking for
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within retrofit, decarbonisation, planned works or social housing
* Strong knowledge of PAS 2035, ECO4, SHDF or similar frameworks
* Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Commercially astute with strong cost control ability
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong Excel and reporting skills
Desirable
Experience with housing associations or local authorities
Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
RICS or CIOB (or working towards)
Retrofit or energy efficiency programme experience
