SEGULA Technologies serves Clients in the Nuclear Energy sector. We focus on design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, decommissioning and dismantling also covering logistics and documentation. We are currently looking for Civil Design Engineers to join us and help deliver a project in Bristol. The successful Candidate will be supporting the delivery of nuclear power plant project through the following activities: Receiving, analysing and verifying the consistency of the input data from other disciplines for the scope of responsibility (specific civil batch or building). Production of deliverables for which they are responsible (design hypotheses, methodology and assumption notes; technical specifications; calculation notes). Coordination of the work of CAD Designers. Performing technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models and drawings. Coordinating comments from other external entities on the above documents and making sure that the final content is agreed by all parties. Contributing to a correct design configuration management: preparation of design changes, participation to design change committees, use of open points management tool and of the margin management tool when appropriate. Contribution to the load management process. Managing the interface with the civil designers, providing them all the necessary inputs at the right time, following their progress and making sure the design is delivered on time. Contributing to CDM reviews, creating and maintaining the Design Risk Register. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Essential: Bachelor's / Master's degree in civil engineering Civil engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures. Project management qualification and/or experience Contract management qualification and/or experience (preferably NEC3 or similar target price contract) Knowledge of and/or experience of civil engineering design contracts in the nuclear sector or other heavily regulated industry Additional Information 12-24 months contracts (Fixed term or IIR35) Location: Bristol (working week: 3 days in the office and 2 days - home) Salary/rate will depend of experience 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays Employee Assistance Programme Pension Team events Free on-site parking We are an equal opportunities employer and highly value Diversity and Inclusion.
