The Role:
Provide environmental, health, and safety advisory and training services, monitor policy compliance, and support external agency interactions.
Responsibilities:
* Lead EHS strategy and advise on safety culture.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
* Investigate incidents and implement remedial actions.
* Promote continuous safety improvement initiatives.
* Develop and deliver safety training programs.
* Coordinate with external agencies and authorities.
* Manage PPE stock and analyze safety data for improvements.
* Conduct risk assessments and maintain documentation.
* Perform safety audits and inspections.
* Prepare safety reports and recommend actions.
Ideal Candidate:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
* Knowledge of COSHH, especially related to paints and chemicals.
* Experience in developing and maintaining H&S policies.
* Strong communication and training skills, with leadership experience in matrix teams preferred.
