What you will do:

The People Change Partner will operate at a strategic level to shape, enable and support the Bank’s People agenda aligned to the next phase of the Metro Bank journey. The role partners closely with senior leaders to ensure the organisation is prepared for future skills and workforce needs.

• Understand and interpret the future proposition of the Bank to feed into the strategic People workstream plan

• Support the design and build of the Target Operating Model enterprise-wide

• Develop strategic workforce planning insights and scenarios to anticipate future talent and capability requirements

• Partner with senior leaders and People Partners to deliver people change effectively balancing colleague experience,

business strategy and risk management

• Support cultural alignment and behaviour change initiatives tied to strategic transformation

• Provide expert advice on organisational design, future skills strategy and workforce transformation

What you will need:


• Previous experience in in a People Change or People Partner role, ideally within Financial Services

• Extensive background in Strategic Workforce Planning

• Experience within a FinTech, digital‑first or technology‑led organisation

• Proven experience supporting or leading large‑scale organisational transformation

• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing People elements of TOM transitions

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills combined with strong communication skills

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
