Pensions Lawyer - Associate / Managing Associate - Bristol - 2-10 Years PQE

Location: Bristol

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000

A leading national law firm is seeking a Pensions Lawyer (Associate or Managing Associate) with 2-10 years' post-qualification experience to join its expanding Bristol Pensions team. This is an exciting opportunity to be more than just a number - you’ll play a key role in building and shaping a dynamic, ambitious team that is entering a bold phase of growth.


The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering technically excellent advice and managing a varied caseload of pensions matters, including:

* Trustee advisory work
* Corporate support and project work
* Public sector pensions (multi-billion-pound liabilities)
* Translating complex pensions law into clear, practical guidance for clients
* Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's busy corporate department
* Contributing to the growth and future success of the Bristol pensions practice


Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

* 2-10 years PQE in pensions law (applications outside this range also considered)
* Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confidence in managing matters independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Commercial awareness and financial management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
* A proactive, self-starting mindset with strong organisational skills
