An experienced Jewellery Specialist with expert knowledge of Jewellery is required to join the DSM team on a temporary basis. Responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience, meeting/exceeding sales targets and ensuring that Jewellery area is well maintained and stocked at all times. Focusing on all details with a clear and highly professional style. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with the smooth running of the Jewellery department in store Contact for VIP & Merchandising teams for any Jewellery special orders Ensuring that the very best levels of customer service are met at all times. Building and retaining a client book. Keeping the selling floor and stock well maintained, clean and organized. Capturing data in accordance with company “data capture” procedures. Receiving, checking off and storing new deliveries. Floor coverage/asset protection. Following Jewellery security protocol. Maintaining Jewellery visual merchandising standards. Non Negotiables; Deliver sales and hit monthly trade targets & KPIs Provide outstanding customer service and follow ups to maximise and drive sales and provide the very best VIP shopping experience Assisting a seamless Jewellery operation, working with VIP, Merch and Sales teams to ensure swift action on client orders and queries Build and maintain strong client relationships and a client book of key Jewellery customers and VIPs The Ideal Candidate Attitude: A highly motivated individual able to converse with all levels both internally and externally. Understands the importance of establishing and building relationships, clienteling and customer development and retention. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Jewellery, Watches, CDG and DSM. Is enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge with customers and colleagues. Capable of multi-tasking while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business. Able to work independently and as part of a team. At least 3 years or more experience working with Jewellery. Fluent in the language and terminology used with Jewellery – for example; understanding carat, cuts, different types of stones, various colours of gold Knowledge and understanding of bespoke service and what can be done if requested. Ability to manage expectations and be able to deal with issues and challenging situations.
