ACTEMIUM Design UK, an award-winning engineering design firm is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As part of our dedicated finance team, you will maintain accurate financial records, support transactional processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Operational Finance: Timesheet and expense processing, support procurement activities, assist with invoice processing and resolution
2. Financial Control: Balance sheet reconciliations, maintain accurate records, budget monitoring and variance analysis, contribute to reporting monthly/quarterly cycles, year-end audit prep
3. Compliance & Improvement: ensure adherence to internal controls, identify process improvements, stakeholder support on finance queries
4. Project Accounting: Support Project Managers to assist with project performance tracking, maintain effective contract records
5. Cash Management: Maximise invoicing, drive efficient credit control
What We’re Looking For
6. Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
7. Strong transactional finance experience
8. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas)
9. An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy
10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management
11. Valid driving licence
12. Experience in project-based or engineering environments (advantageous)
