New Business Salesperson Required
Basic Annual Salary Range: £28,000 to £35,000.
Additional Weekly and Quarterly Bonuses.
Based in Southampton Area.
Full-time Permanent Employment.
Overview
You will be generating new clients with wholesale, distribution, and re-seller companies across Hampshire. You will be tasked with generating sales through telephone call, emails, and face-to-face sales, so you need to be confident talking to company decision makers.
As part of your job you will start work at 5am to support the distribution team, and to ensure that all your orders are going out to the correct clients. Working 8-hours per day Monday to Friday. This will also help you to understand the companies support processes, client orders, etc.
You will have access to a company car so you can complete client drop-offs, meetings, visits, products pitch, client / account management.
Duties:
* Engage with prospective buyers, understand their needs and preferences.
* Conduct presentations highlighting features and benefits.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients throughout the sales process.
* Use CRM to track leads, manage customer interactions, report on sales activities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for lead generation.
* Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to provide insights that enhance sales strategies.
* Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote our brand and generate leads.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Proven experience and interest in B2B new business sales.
* Able to use telephone, email, and face-to-face sales techniques.
* Analytical skills with the ability to assess customer needs and market conditions.
* Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is essential for managing client relationships effectively.
* Fluent in English (written and verbal).
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust.
Essential Employment Check Requirements:
* Able to work in the UK as a full-time permanent worker.
* Full and clean UK driving license (DVLA check will be required).
* Lives in the Southampton area.
* Right to work checks completed prior to interviews.
