We are well established busy, friendly team of 10 working across the south coast of the UK, we cover a variety of electrical and fire alarm work for property management companies. This role will have use of a company vehicle and work across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.
The role has responsibility for:
Safety Checks and Inspections:
* Regularly inspect electrical systems, equipment, and wiring for potential hazards and malfunctions.
Preventative Maintenance:
* Implement and maintain preventative maintenance procedures to ensure systems function optimally and minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and equipment problems quickly and efficiently.
Installation and Wiring:
* Install and wire new electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Record Keeping:
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
Working with Tools:
* Utilize hand and power tools, including measuring instruments, to perform tasks effectively.
Following Safety Protocols:
* Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations when working with electrical equipment.
Communication:
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance needs and issues.
Training and Development:
* Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and safety standards through ongoing training and development.
Other essential requirements
* Must be able to commit to covering on-call duties on a rota basis to provide an out-of-hours emergency / first response service 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
* Undertake regular safety checks on vehicles used for work purposes as required by our policies and procedures to ensure that vehicles are safe. Maintain vehicle records as required and keep vehicles in a clean and tidy order, ensuring that vehicles are secure and correctly parked when not in use.
