Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you an engaging and knowledgeable History Teacher who can bring the past to life for students?
Schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) and GSL Education are looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to deliver well-structured and engaging lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will support students in exploring key historical events, developing analytical skills, and understanding different perspectives. You will create a positive classroom environment where discussion, enquiry, and independent learning are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver clear and engaging history lessons.
* Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
* Encourage source analysis and structured discussion.
* Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching History in a school setting.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Good communication and organisational abilities.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
