Title: Duty Manager Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) Location: Inverness Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 Sector: Sport/Leisure Details: Our client is looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Duty Manager to join their team based in Inverness. This is a varied and rewarding role combining maintenance with operational leadership responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, supporting the day-to-day running of the facility, and contributing to a positive culture across the business. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the facility, completing all required log sheets and checklists. Stay up to date with best practices and implement improvements. Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations. Support diary scheduling to maximise usage and revenue. Promote a positive team culture and encourage collaboration. Assist in identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs. Support facility maintenance in collaboration with the General Manager and maintenance committee. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and Safe Systems of Work. Deliver an outstanding visitor experience at all times. Maintain all machinery, tools, and equipment in safe and good working condition. Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and regularly inspected. Provide support across bar, café, reception as required. Assist with event setup, delivery, and clear down.
