As a result of an extended period of growth, Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a wholesale and distribution firm in Lisburn on the appointment of a Transport Lead.
In this newly created role, you will work with a continuous improvement mindset directing, managing and developing current internal Transport Operations.

Responsibilities in your new role
* Full review of current Transport infrastructure and processes with a view of implementing a number of process improvement projects, ensuring the department runs more efficiently
* KPI reporting
* Manage and resolve Transport, POD query resolution for site fast and efficiently
* Develop SLAs with other Group business units that use the site, regular reporting on same
* Ensure all staff under your guidance are following the company policies and regulations
* In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Company from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training
* To work in accordance with all company policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental
What you will need to succeed
* 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Proficient with TMS / WMS systems
* Experience on Transport modelling mapping systems
