Administration Support – Engineering / Construction Sector
Location: Braintree, Essex (office-based)
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + benefits

We are a growing engineering business within the generator and building services sector. Due to continued expansion, we’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Administration Support professional to join our operations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day admin and clerical support to the engineering team
* Assist with procurement and supplier coordination
* Maintain accurate records and internal databases
* Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements
* Support document preparation including reports and client correspondence
* Help with invoicing, purchase orders, and general office tasks
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
* Proven admin experience (engineering, construction or technical industry preferred)
* Strong IT skills — confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with project/management software (e.g., Archdesk – desirable, not essential)
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
