Role overview
You will work as a valued member of the CMHT in Bracknell as well as being a part of Berkshire's wider Psychological Therapies team.
You will provide a highly specialist psychological service to users presenting with severe and complex mental health difficulties requiring multiple interventions, or users requiring complex or intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency work.
Responsibilities
* Initiate the safe delivery of psychotherapy interventions, support other evidence-based interventions, and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams within one of the two localities and within wider Trust services.
* You will be reliable and knowledgeable, and you will have great IT skills and be familiar with various IT systems and software packages.
* You will need access to your own car and be able to travel independently across Berkshire when needed. The requirement will be for you to be present at base or available to attend, every day you are employed.
* The role involves assessing and treating patients referred for psychotherapy and offering your expertise to the wider multidisciplinary team. You will have a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of brief psychotherapies and have skills in psychological assessment and formulation of complex presentations, which may be treated by a range of evidence-based psychological interventions in adult mental health services.
