Are you ready to play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly? Nobia UK is seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Darlington.
Salary: £26,500

What You’ll Be Doing
You will be central to our supply chain excellence, ensuring the site is maintained, waste is managed, and operations are orderly. Reporting to the Facilities Lead, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting facilities maintenance projects and assisting the Facilities Lead.
2. Collaborating with the facilities team and internal stakeholders to reduce costs.
3. Maintaining the Concerto FM system for onsite works, legal compliance, and remedial actions.
4. Liaising with contractors for quotations and raising POs for works.
5. Checking RAMS, conducting onsite contractor inductions, and permit management (training provided).
6. Ensuring contractor compliance with RAMS and safety protocols onsite.
7. Working with contractors and external suppliers.
8. Engaging with internal stakeholders for support and approval of projects and repairs.
9. Representing the facilities department in H&S site meetings and providing updates on onsite works.
10. Coordinating waste removal and storage with Facilities and H&S teams.
11. Maintaining cleanliness onsite, including using MHE equipment for tasks such as bin emptying.
12. Achieving and maintaining set KPIs.
13. Performing seasonal tasks like landscaping and gritting checks.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
We seek a proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:
1. MHE experience
2. IOSH certification
3. Excellent numeracy and administrative skills
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail
5. Experience in Facilities and H&S
6. Ability to communicate effectively across all stakeholder levels
7. A positive, flexible, problem-solving attitude
8. Customer focus and team spirit
9. Excellent organization and time management skills to prioritize effectively during busy periods
