A summary of the role
This role is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
Your main activities will be to :
* Focus on controlling activities, financial reporting & month-end closing for Ingenico UK Limited
* Support 5 legal entities based in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland
* Reporting to the Head of Finance
* Based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, Scotland
* We are flexible in our way of working and strongly encourage a hybrid model of part office/part remote (office 2 days per week)
Key responsibilities
* Assist in month-end closing
* Support statutory financial, regulatory, and statistical reporting requirements
* Support internal and external audit activity
* Focus on internal control
* Monthly P&L reporting to internal budget holders / cost centre managers
* Preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management including variance analysis
* Reporting of KPIs via dashboards, project reporting, profitability reporting
* Financial analysis including business cases and pricing requests
Desired Skills and Abilities
* Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years post-qual experience
* Strong knowledge of both UK and International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
* Very strong knowledge of Excel
* Must be a quick learner, pro-active, well organised and self- motivated
* Collaborative and team orientated
* Good communication skills at all levels within the organisation
* Ability to use initiative and self-starter
* Knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage
* Previous experience of working in the Finance function within a large international Group
