We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to work alongside a job split partner in an exciting new post of Senior Research Project Manager (SRPM). The post is offered on a 0.4FTE basis, starting 1 August 2024. The post holder will work closely with an already appointed 0.7FTE SRPM and support ALSPAC’s Chief Operating Officer in managing a large research study, the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC), also known as Children of the 90s. ALSPAC is a world-leading birth cohort study, following the lives of around 10,000 families. The post holder will be responsible for the management and coordination of remote and in-person data collection in ALSPAC, develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders such as researchers and participants and ensure that all the necessary support is in place to maintain and expand a programme of research within the study. From August 2024 we will move to new premises at the Learning and Research Building at Southmead Hospital. This post is offered as a blended working opportunity, with an expectation that the postholder will spend at least one day per week in the office. This post is offered on a provisional basis. This is because grant funding for the study from 1 August 2024 to July 2029 is expected to be confirmed in July 2024.
