Job Purpose
Zynga is hiring for a Senior Manager, Media Planning on a 4 month fixed-term contract. Within this role, you will collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to create compelling brand media launch campaigns that generate excitement, drive installs and increase reputation for a mix of licensed and new IP titles from Zynga.
You will be responsible for working within the overall GTM team, and be an instrumental player in driving the brand playbook. Work closely with senior stakeholders from our global media agency and key digital media partners, to deliver best-in-class brand media strategies and implementation for the launch of new titles. Ensuring paid media efforts are focussed on innovation, having measurement frameworks in place will be critical to success. Presenting GTM Paid Media strategies and activations, to secure sign off will be a key part of the role and requires being comfortable to present at C Level.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Collaboration And Relationship Management
1. Collaborate with the GTM brand strategy team and key stakeholders, to understand marketing and commercial goals, target audiences and industry landscape.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business, acting as a trusted advisor on media strategies.
Research And Analysis
3. Leverage consumer insights to identify target audience behaviors, media consumption habits, and market trends.
4. Analyze data from various sources like GWI tool, to inform media planning decisions and optimize campaign performance.
Media Strategy Development
5. Develop comprehensive media frameworks that effectively reach the target audience and align with the marketing & commercial objectives.
6. Determine the most suitable media channels, platforms, and tactics for campaign implementation.
Campaign Execution And Optimization
7. Collaborate with media buyers to optimize media investment and ensure campaigns are executed effectively.
8. Build specific Media KPI Metrics that compliment general Brand metrics
9. Stay up to date with emerging media trends, technologies, and industry developments to incorporate into media strategies.
10. Support on collating creative requirements for brand media campaigns and being part of a creative working group, to drive best practises for creative execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
11. Work closely with cross functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated media strategies.
12. Build the direct relationships with key media partners
13. Collaborate with the creative / social teams, to align messaging and creative concepts with media plans.
Required Skills & Experience
14. Experience in a project management, media planning/strategy role.
15. Excellent communication skills, ability to work with cross functional colleagues in an impactful way.
16. Proven analytical skills; ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
17. Self-starter and can do attitude.
18. Ability to develop strong, open, and collaborative working relationships by gaining trust to successfully manage and deliver against expectations
