The key purpose of this role is to write, update, proofread, maintain and standardise learning content such as SOPs, CCPs and so on across various UK sites. You will work alongside the Learning Procedure Lead to keep the business-as-usual compliance documentation up to date. Using your excellent influencing and rapport building skills, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders and other key players to develop bespoke learning documentation together with the robust assessments. Your role will include inputting new and existing content into a new standardised template and updating the content as per the requests from site. The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships across the business and deliver clear and effective communication in order to drive standardisation of content where possible. You will need to be comfortable to ask questions to site requestors to clarify updates or ask probing questions to get a greater understanding of what is required. You will also have a keen eye for ambiguities and to make collaborative decisions on ways to put these right and present a more streamlined document. You must also have the ability to demonstrate close attention to detail in order to manage version control to facilitate a robust strategy. This will be a fast-paced role, with high volume and tight turnaround timescales, so you must be able to work under pressure in a logical and methodical manner across various sites. This role is site based and will involve regular travel across multiple sites. Role Accountabilities Accountable for creating, reviewing, updating, and maintaining a range of learning documents for core and operational effectiveness incl. SOPS and CCPS and other content to a high standard Working closely with the SHE, Technical, Operations, and Learning teams to obtain any information required; Liaising with requestors to understand learning needs and to query updates Continuously seek to improve the range of learning content creation, looking where improvements can be made to our current processes Proofread documentation to ensure the high quality of the content and work with other departments to ensure the content is factually correct Demonstrate close attention to detail in order to manage version control to facilitate a robust maintenance strategy Ensure all learning documents are compliant with customer standards and latest regulations and all changes and modifications are recorded in line with the requirements of the company's quality management system Ensures all updated documents are uploaded to the system in collaboration with Systems and Performance Team Effectively manage workload deliverables in line with multiple project requirements and deadlines across various sites About You You will need to have previous experience of working in the factory setting, where you have previously been responsible for writing or updating SOPs and other material from health, safety or technical standards Must be IOSH and Food Safety 3 trained or willing to be trained High level of competence using PC based applications; desktop publishing, photo editing / digital imaging software, spreadsheets, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Must have worked on site and understand H&S/Technical requirements Must have excellent influencing and rapport building skills Must be able to travel/own transport L&D Level 3 would be advantageous, as would a good level of learning design understanding so that when appropriate, you can identify certain policies or procedures that can be bought to life in a different way.
