About the Role
I am working with an independent specialist school seeking a Receptionist / Administrator to join their busy school office team.
This is a key front-of-house role, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and professionals, while also supporting a wide range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors, parents, contractors, and delivery staff
* Handling calls, emails, and general school communications
* Supporting attendance monitoring and first-day absence calls
* Maintaining accurate pupil records, databases, and registers
* Supporting safeguarding procedures for all visitors
* Processing deliveries, stock, and school resources
* Assisting with lunches, trips, and school events
* Processing payments and recording contributions
* Providing general administrative support to the school office and leadership team
About You
I am looking for someone who is:
* Friendly, professional, and confident in a school environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A clear communicator (written and verbal)
* Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced role
* IT competent with the ability to manage multiple systems

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
