We're Hiring: Materials Laboratory Technician – Worksop
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a leading heavy manufacturing business in Worksop, who are looking for a
Materials Laboratory Technician
to join their team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in:
* Sectioning steel and cast iron products & preparing samples
* Microscopy, hardness testing & failure analysis
* Assessing raw materials and product properties
* Performing fatigue and corrosion testing
* Investigating product failures and reporting on findings
* Setting up & running lab tests in line with technical standards
* Supporting quality assurance activities and supplier accreditation
What we're looking for:
* A degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science or related
* Ideally 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of materials testing techniques & equipment
* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
