A weing and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking amitted SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist hub provision. The school has a strong reputation for supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and offers a collaborative, well‑structured environment where staff work closely to ensure every child can thrive.
Your new role
This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, working within the school’s SEND hub until the end of the academic year. You will be supporting a small group of approximately 5–8 pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD and socialmunication difficulties. The hub supports children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
You will work alongside a class teacher and another experienced TA to deliver high‑quality support and create a calm, nurturing learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting pupils through small‑group activities and targeted interventions
2. Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
3. Helping to maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment
4. Working collaboratively with the teacher and wider SEND team
5. Providing feedback and observations to support pupil progress

6. Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism or ADHD
7. A patient, resilient and positive approach
8. Strongmunication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships
9. A genuine passion for helping pupils with additional needs
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
