On behalf of our client school, we are looking for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 teachers who can teach in the New Mills area. The school is a lovely, family feel single form entry school in a wonderful rural setting with happy children who are keen to learn. This school has an extraordinary charm and ethos which holds the children at the heart of all decisions and educates children from diverse backgrounds.
Headed up by an experienced Headteacher and leadership team, this is a wonderful place to work where staff are friendly, supportive and share a similar vision to promote positive change. Staff have high expectations of children, especially in attendance and behaviour which naturally impacts greatly on achievement and have established strong relationships with families and the local community.
Responsibilities
* Undertake full class teaching responsibilities in the EYFS provision and/or KS1 and KS2 classrooms
* Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and/or KS1/2 curriculum and ensure learning experiences challenge pupils to reach their potential
* Use adaptive teaching methods to ensure activities are accessible for all, integrating opportunities for critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving
* Support a cross-curricular approach to learning with a focus on creativity and, where appropriate, use modern technology to enhance learning experiences
* Have good behaviour management based on positive reinforcement and establish a trusting, respectful environment where every pupil can thrive
* Work well independently as well as with the wider team, sharing best practice

Essential Requirements
* Hold QTS Certification (or an equivalent teaching qualification from overseas)
* Have experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
* Be available from September and be able to commute to the New Mills area
* Be able to provide two recent teaching references which demonstrate excellent practice in KS2
* Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)
* Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment with no gaps and provide 2 suitable references from your most recent roles in education
* Have a right to work in the UK
