We have a fantastic opportunity for a SHEQ Administrator to join our Nuclear & Infrastructure Division, based on site at Hinkley Point C. Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market! Vacancy Details In this position you will play a vital role in supporting the SHEQ team to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the HPC site. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with audits and inspections, and ensuring that SHEQ documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Other Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Maintaining and updating SHEQ documentation, registers, and databases (e.g., incident logs, training records, audit schedules). Supporting the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits and inspections. Assist in the collation and reporting of SHEQ performance data and KPIs. Ensure timely distribution and communication of SHEQ alerts, bulletins, and updates. Coordinate SHEQ inductions and training sessions for site personnel. Support the SHEQ team in incident investigations by gathering documentation and evidence. Ensure compliance with EDF and Tier 1 contractor SHEQ procedures and standards. Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure SHEQ documentation is submitted and reviewed. Promote a positive SHEQ culture across the site through proactive engagement and communication. Experience And Qualifications Essesntial requirements: Previous experience in a SHEQ or administrative role, within a construction or engineering environment. Strong organisational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially Strong communicative skills and ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
