Role/Job Title - Multimedia Support Analyst
Work Location -UK - London (3 days a week)
The Role
The Multimedia editorial team at GNM produce all the video and audio media content created in the UK for publication on our digital platforms. This role ensures the smooth, uninterrupted running of all multimedia systems and services, provides iterative enhancements, and assists multimedia users with problems and service requests. It also ensures processes are well documented and supports onboarding of new staff.
Your Responsibilities (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)
1. Operational support for multimedia IT systems and equipment, including but not limited to:
Apple computers (desktops and laptops)
Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)
Audio editing (Adobe Audition, Cubase)
File transfer (Signiant Media Shuttle)
Collaboration and hybrid working tools (e.g., Frame.io)
Asset Management System (e.g., Iconik)
Production Storage (e.g., SAN, Lucid Link)
Archiving (e.g., AWS S3/Glacier)
IT ticketing and incident management (e.g., Halo)
2. Monitor multimedia system processes and resolve issues to enable timely creation, publishing, and archiving of multimedia content.
3. Respond to user requests for assistance and record significant system problems/incidents in ITMS (Halo).
